Lawrence D. McCreery, Attorney at Law
Lawrence McCreery has had his private law practice on the island of Kauai for over thirty years.
He tries to give his clients a personal, sympathetic approach to resolve the important legal
issues that arise in their lives.
Mr. McCreery is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School (JD 1974) and the University
of Michigan College of Engineering (BSE 1969). He relocated to Honolulu in 1971, and he has
resided on Kauai since 1978. He is a father, with four grown children who currently live on
the mainland.
Mr. McCreery has been a member of the Rotary Club of Kapaa for over twenty years, and served
as President and held other offices in the past. He is currently a member of the Boards of
Directors of Samuel Mahelona Hospital Charitable Foundation, the Larry L. McIntosh Music
Scholarship Association, and Ke Ala Hoku.
Music is an important part of Mr. McCreery's life. He has played French horn since the age
of thirteen, and he is currently a member of the Starlighters dance band, Kauai Community
College's Jazz Band, Orchestra, and Symphonic Band, and the Homestead Brass quintet.
He has played in "pit orchestras" for many different musical stage productions over the years.
